YOUR MACBOOK DON’T RECOGNIZE OUR SSD?

We can help you with these solutions:

  • Trim enable
  • Reset NVRAM
  • Erase and reeinstall macos

TRIM ENABLE

Apple added a command called trimforce in Mac OS X 10.10.4, allowing Mac owners using third-party SSDs to enable TRIM.

How to enable TRIM? It must be activated from the previous ssd.

  1. Open the Terminal from /Applications/Utilities.
  2. Type sudo trimforce enable and hit return or enter.
  3. Type Y at the prompt to indicate you want to proceed, and press Enter.
  4. Restart your macbook and replace the ssd.

RESET NVRAM

If one or more settings stored in NVRAM aren’t working as expected on an Intel-based Mac, resetting NVRAM may help.

How to restart the NVRAM?

  1. Shut down your Mac.
  2. Turn on your Mac, then press and hold these four keys together immediately: Option, Cmd, P, R.
  3. Release the keys after about 20 seconds, during which your Mac may appear to restart. For example, you may hear a startup sound more than once, or see the Apple logo more than once.
  4. Turn off your mac.
  5. Turn on by pressing OPTION. When you see the available startup disks, select our ssd.

ERASE AND REINSTALL MACOS

You can use macOS Recovery to reinstall the Mac operating system (macOS)

How to reinstall macOS?

  1. Press and release the power button to turn on your Mac.
  2. Immediately after releasing the power button, press and hold Shift-Option-Command-R: When you press and hold these four keys at startup, macOS Recovery might offer the macOS that came with your Mac, or the closest version still available.
  3. Keep holding the keys until you see an Apple logo or spinning globe.
  4. You might be asked to select a Wi-Fi network or attach a network cable. To select a Wi-Fi network, use the Wi-Fi menu  in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  5. If you’re asked to select a user you know the password for, select the user. Then click Next and enter that user’s administrator password, which is the password they use to log in to the Mac.
  6. After installation. Replace the ssd.
  7. Turn on by pressing OPTION. When you see the available startup disks, select our ssd.
